Instructions for authors

This journal uses ScholarOne Manuscripts (previously Manuscript Central) to peer review manuscript submissions. Please read the guide for ScholarOne authors before making a submission. Complete guidelines for preparing and submitting your manuscript to this journal are provided below.
Manuscript Submission
Energy Sources, Part B receives all manuscript submissions electronically via their ScholarOne Manuscripts website located at: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/UESB . ScholarOne Manuscripts allows for rapid submission of original and revised manuscripts, as well as facilitating the review process and internal communication between authors, editors and reviewers via a web-based platform. For ScholarOne Manuscripts technical support, you may contact them by e-mail or phone support via http://mcv3support.custhelp.com/ . If you have any other requests please contact the Editor, Dr. James G. Speight at JamesSp8@aol.com .
Manuscripts should be supplied in the following format: Microsoft Word (WordPerfect is also acceptable), 12-point type (Times New Roman), and double-spaced. Manuscripts are not to exceed eight (8) pages, plus tables and figures (see the Illustrations and Tables sections) for a total of sixteen (16) pages. In the absence of tables and figures, the Editor may allow a greater number of text pages. The Editor’s decision is final. Allow margins of at least one inch (3 cm) on all sides of the typed pages. Number all manuscript pages consecutively. Translations of papers previously published in languages other than English can be considered, but the author must provide this information and permission to reprint at the time of submission.
Titles: All titles must be as brief as possible, 6 to 10 words. Authors should also supply a shortened version of the title suitable for the running head, not exceeding 50 character spaces.
Affiliation: On the title page, include full names of authors, academic and/or other professional affiliations, and the complete address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address of the author to whom proofs and correspondence should be sent.
Author Responsibilities : The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors agree with the author list and technical content before submitting the manuscript. The corresponding author is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the manuscript at the time of submission. Author names and affiliations must be compete and correct at the time of paper submission. While corrections can be made at the proof stage for authors who have changed institutions since the time of paper acceptance, author names cannot be added or deleted at the proof stage. If the corresponding author wishes to add or delete authors the paper must be withdrawn, corrected, and resubmitted for review via ScholarOne Manuscripts.
Acknowledgments : Acknowledgements must be complete and correct at the time of submission. Additions or deletions cannot be made at the proof stage. If the corresponding author wishes to add or delete sponsoring institutions or persons the paper must be withdrawn, corrected, and resubmitted for review via ScholarOne Manuscripts.
Abstract: Each article should be summarized in a double-spaced abstract of not more than 150 words. Avoid abbreviations, diagrams, and reference to the text.
Keywords: Authors must supply 3-10 alphabetized keywords or phrases that identify the most important subjects covered by the paper.
